The website thetrace.org posted an article explaining how the FBI classifies “Mass Murder” ( 4 people, not including the alleged perpetrator being fatally shot. So, if a gunman fatally shoots 3 people, and wounds 100 that is technically not a mass murder, but it is certainly a mass shooting.
Let’s us mass shooting as the historical metric to compare how bad things really are.
