Even if North Korea as responsible for the Sony disaster, which I still am not convinced of, they didn’t prevent the showing of “The Interview” and how it represents North Korea. The final scene, the one that caused the uproar, be seen in multiple sites on the Internet.
If they are responsible then it certainly backfired on them. This was a movie that was, at best, a total waste of time and talent. It was not reviewed favorably and so the number of people who would see the final scene was limited. Now everyone who want to see it can, and it doesn’t cost anything. It is just the latest example of the Streisand Effect. It will not be the last time this happens. It just gives some satisfaction given the cowardly stance of Sony,
